Christian Taylor - Student Athlete Of The WeekTaylor helped Barstow take over first place in the Desert Sky League with two big wins last week. He had 31 points and 12 rebounds in an victory against Granite Hills. He followed that up with 36 points, 15 rebounds and five steals against Adelanto.
Angel Leverett-Jack - Student Athlete Of The WeekLeverett-Jack recorded two hat tricks in two games last week. She led the Silver Knights with four goals and five assists a lopsided affair Jan. 10, and then scored three goals against Big Bear on Jan. 12.
Matthew Iwig - Student Athlete Of The WeekIwig scored four goals and added an assist in two games last week. He paced the Bulldogs with three goals and an assist in a victory over Burroughs on Jan. 10 and scored a goal to help beat Serrano on Jan. 12.
Evander Burns - Student Athlete Of The WeekBurns scored 23 points and snagged 10 rebounds to lead Barstow to a 75-68 victory against Redlands in the San Bernardino Kiwanis Boys Basketball Tournament title game on Dec. 30. Burns averaged 23 points, 13 rebounds, 4.75 assists per game in the four-game tournament and was named the Most Valuable Player.
Camry Porter - Student Athlete Of The WeekPorter scored 19 points in the Serrano Holiday Classic title game against Hesperia on Dec. 30. and earned tournament MVP honors. She also had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Jackrabbits in a loss to Oak Hills.
