In Ontario early Tuesday morning, a motorcyclist who had been involved in a high-speed police chase was killed after crashing into a car.

According to CBS Los Angeles, it was around 1 a.m. when the crash happened on Milliken Avenue, close to the 10 freeway. The motorcyclist died at the scene after he crashed into a car. Reportedly, the driver of the car wasn’t injured.

Ontario police say the suspect was initially a part of a high speed police pursuit in Rancho Cucamonga. However, before the crash happened, the pursuit had been called off because of high speeds.

It hasn’t been confirmed what prompted the chase in the first place.

The Milliken Avenue on-and-off ramps to the 10 Freeway had been shutdown for several hours due to the incident.
