The Clippers are without one of their biggest pieces, Blake Griffin, for the rest of the playoffs. But the team reportedly will receive a boost to its backcourt for Game 5 against the Utah Jazz.

According to The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Clippers expect Austin Rivers to play Tuesday after missing the team’s past 11 games with a hamstring injury. The Jazz tied the series at 2 with a 105-98 win on Sunday night.

While Rivers doesn’t bolster the Clippers’ thin frontcourt, he does add some playmaking and scoring ability that the team desperately needs in Griffin’s absence. Rivers averaged a career-high 12 points and 2.8 assists during the regular season, in a reserve role along with 29 starts.
