This week’s accomplishment: Romero went 9 for 9 for the week. Against CIMS she was 5 for 5 with a home run, three doubles, seven RBIs and five runs. Against Excelsior she went 4 for 4 with three doubles, three RBIs and a run.
What do you like most about your sport: I like the people and friendships I’ve been able to make and the opportunities I’ve been given thanks to this sport.
How long have you been playing your sport and how did you get started: I’ve been playing since I was 4. I got started by playing T-ball with my older sister.
Pregame ritual: A special handshake with my a sister Chloe.
Most memorable sports moment: When I verbally committed to my dream school, Boston College.
If you could be someone else for a day, who would it be and why: Nobody. I’m still working to improve myself.
Something most people don’t know about you: I’ve been calling pitches for ACE’s softball team since I was in eighth grade.
How would you spend $1 million: I would donate it to breast cancer awareness research. #TeamLori
Where would you go if you could travel anywhere in the world: Spain and Greece
If you had an extra hour every day, how would you spend it: Improving my game.
What superpower do you wish you had: Superspeed. That way I can turn my singles into triples.
