This week’s accomplishment: Gillham finished second in the heavyweight division at the CIF-Southern Section Masters Meet. He had three pins and a decision on the way to the championship match.
What do you like most about your sport: That you can take out all your aggression out on the opponent.
How long have you been playing your sport and how did you get started: I’ve been wrestling for six years. I started because my brother Justin wrestled and I wanted to beat him.
Pregame ritual: I like to listen to music to warm up before each match.
Most memorable sports moment: Making it to state as a sophomore and placing second at Masters this year.
If you could be someone else for a day, who would it be and why: My coach Rocky Humphrey so I can know all the wrestling moves he knows.
Something most people don’t know about you: I am very family oriented and family always comes first.
How would you spend $1 million: Build my truck and a wrestling gym
