Ronda Rousey’s return to the UFC will take a little more time. The former women’s bantamweight champion had a minor knee surgery recently that will keep her out of the octagon until at least December, according to UFC president Dana White.

“I’m hoping we’re going to get Ronda back this year,” White said. “She actually just had surgery on her knee yesterday. Nothing serious just get in there and scope it, clean it out a little bit.”

Rousey was expected to get back into action around November, which lined up with UFC 205, the first UFC event ever in New York. But now, there is no indication of when or where Rousey could return to action.
